Pair Victorian 1860 Burr Walnut Library Bookcases
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original Antique Victorian Circa 1860-1880 Burr Walnut Library bookcases with glazed tops and waterfall chests of drawers to the base

These are a highly collectable pair of super decorative bookcases, the sides have been altered to fit inside cornices and they by the looks of it were also built in, please view all the pictures very carefully. The shelves are all height adjustable and or removable, they have the same Burr Walnut finish on the end of each shelf so you know they are pure quality. The bases each have a bank of 12 drawers inside the cupboards and an additional 2 drawers above making 14 in total
Condition wise, as mentioned each side has had some alterations so there are losses and repainting, if these were absolutely perfect the retail price would be £12,000 gbp, as such I have reflected the side losses in the price, I can have them fully restored for the cost price should the new owner wish. Otherwise we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they are in good used order throughout, please note I don't have the original keys, they would have been lost decades ago

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.
If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.

We prefer collection on all items from Wimbledon SW19-3BE, If you have your own courier or wish to book the collection in yourself we are happy to accommodate you.
