Exceptional Pair of Standard Lamps - Victorian

This fine pair of mahogany standard lamps are superbly presented.

The pair are derived from William IV period matched bedposts and offer reversed spirals and superb levels of detail to the turning and hand-carving.

Quad-formed bases provide excellent stability and the swept arch leg set is attractive in design.

The lamp holder has been newly replaced and updated to a standard lamp fitting, which accepts the most common bayonet type household bulb, and has a regular lamp shade frame attachment.

All standard shades will fit the piece. The lamps are complete with the quality shade seen in the images.

The lamps are re-wired, tested and supplied with a new antique braided style cable and plug ready to use.

Overall an excellent pair which would look magnificent in a private home but are equally suitable for a commercial environment.
