Circa 1815, pair of top quality mahogany Scottish Regency dining chairs. The pair of chairs have shaped concave top rail and beneath are three turned uprights with carved leaves on the top and then turnings and shaped fluted tapering columns beneath. The two uprights either side have ribbing as does the cross rail beneath. The large stuffover seats have recently been traditionally re-upholstered. At the front are two turned and tapering legs and there are outswept legs at the back. The chairs retain their original colour and patination. Excellent stylish and sturdy chairs.
