A fabulous pair of Irish country house carved giltwood wall sconces. Crested with an eagle with spread winds, the columns are decorated with carved acanthus leaves and lion masks and terminate with a delicate spray of flowers. Each sconce has twin branching candle sconces decorated with acanthus leaves. The condition of these Regency Sconces is excellent, the gilding superb and both have been previously channelled at the back to take electrical wiring if required. A very unusual and beautiful pair of Regency sconces that would add style to any interior.
