Pair of Pierced Brass 19th C. Candlesticks
We are offering for sale this lovely pair of Late Victorian Pierced Brass Candlesticks in excellent condition.
The sticks have a square base with a gadrooned edge, then a pierced foliate decorative section leading to a cushioned solid brass square section. This is followed by another square gadrooned section, leading to a small square brass plinth, above which is a square reeded column, topped by another small square plinth below the drip pan. The drip pan itself is square and flat, with a gadrooned edge. The candle holder is chased with a foliate design with a square rim which has a gadrooned edge.
Dimensions:
Height: 7 7/8" - 20cm
Width of base: 4" - 10cm
Condition: Excellent, with only the odd tiny spot of tarnishing, mentioned for accuracy.
