Pair Of Nickel And Brass Standard Floor Lamps
Great decorative pair of nickel and brass plated standard lamps or floor lamps.
These are a lovely size and not too tall, so you could place them either end of a chest or console table for example, but as you can see, they stand well along side a typical size armchair as reading lights.
The condition is good to both lamps and they have been fully re wired to UK standards. There is tarnishing and some pitting throughout, but nothing unusual and I have shown the pitting in the images of the two bases, but it doesn’t detract from them and is a reminder of their age.
I have shown them with a pair of 18” French drum shades to give a proportion, although they are just examples.
Priced as a pair, but they can be split if you would just like one.
Measuring:
49” or 124.5cm high to the shade cradle
10” or 25.5cm diameter
60” or 152cm high with example shade Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
