Pair of Mahogany Victorian Stand Chairs (c.1840)
Here is an example of a fantastic quality pair of early Victorian Mahogany Stand / Dining / Hall Chairs, circa 1840 - 1850.

This is a superb pair of early Victorian mahogany stand / dining / hall chairs circa 1840 - 1850. The chairs boast a shaped carved floral back which is also mirrored in the legs. Both chairs have just been re-upholstered with stuff over seats and new gold & red silk damask material. We offer a re-upholstery service if you do not like the fabric colour. The chairs can be re-upholstered for £45 per chair. The chairs are strong and would look good anywhere especially as they are comfortable and do not take up much space.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the hallway, bedroom or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Condition Report
These chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour patination to the timber. No breaks to the backs or legs. The seats have recently been upholstered so the seat base and top cover are in excellent condition without any damage, tears or marks. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £60. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. We will inform you by email and/or telephone and provide you with full delivery details including when to expect delivery. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks (depending on location). We will contact you to arrange the delivery day please ensure you give us a contact number to aid the delivery process. Delivery includes insurance we can assure you that the packaging standard is second to none and will fully protect the item.
UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
UK Buyer Payment
For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
International Buyers
