A fine and rare pair of jardinieres form the late 19th century. In the manner of Edwards and Roberts and very well constructed in solid rosewood with attractive rosewood veneers. Decorated throughout with boxwood stringing and further embellished with floral marquetry panels in satinwood and boxwood. With lift off tops, covering solid brass liners. All standing on elegant out-swept turned legs, united by an under-tier. Could also be used as wine coolers. Offered for sale in excellent original condition.
