This decorative pair of French bronze candlesticks are in the Japanese style and are modelled in the form of storks standing on the backs of tortoises while holding a leafy branch which rises up to support a candle holder and sconce. This interesting and decorative pair of late 19th-century bronze candlesticks are in good condition, circa 1900.

Width = 12 cm (4.7")
