This is a fabulous vintage pair of Chinese baluster-shaped porcelain table lamps, hand-painted in a Limoges style with bronzed brass mounts, circa 1980s. The porcelain bodies are painted with green and white stripes with floral decoration including two oval panels with floral sprays, and with similar sprays on the necks. The white panels and stripes are outlined in gold.

These lamps were acquired from a now retired dealer who purchased them as vases, carried out the conversions to lamps in the UK and supplied high end London shops.

Condition: These are in perfect condition and working order. They are supplied with a generous length of gold PVC cable. They work well with 40cm tapered drum ivory linen-effect shades as is shown in one of the photographs. Shades are not supplied but similar shades can be purchased for about £25 each.
