Pair of candlesticks in an Egyptian style
A late 19thc pair of bronzed & gilt candlesticks of unusual form, in an Egyptian style, possibly French.
The sconces consist of leaf decoration supported by gun barrel shaped stems.
These lead down to roundals depicting Egyptian motifs & anthemion decoration & scroll work.
Please see photograph 5, as one scroll is missing.
These are supported by tri-form bases with three finely formed birds legs on each candlestick.
These items are decorative & have an unusual style.
