Circa 1920s, pair of bleached mahogany open bookcases by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh, with design features inspired by Sir Robert Lorimer. With three quarter gallery featuring a carved design, and a full length narrow drawer above 2 adjustable shelves. It has a shaped apron to the front and both stand on Lorimer style feet.
