Unusual and imposing pair of early 20th.c. oak display cabinets, c.1925. A true pair with left and right hand opening doors enclosing three adjustable shelves to each. Of transitional Art Deco or machine age influence design. Step cornice with a flat top for display and a crisply carved frieze of flowers and fruit, over a single glazed door with ebonized glazing bars and flanked on each side with fluted detail. Large stepped plinth at the base. Superb quality with mahogany lined interior. Great colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Interesting label to the rear, marked as being from Berlin.
