Wonderful pair of antique Adam style mahogany console antique tables inlaid with many different woods & in excellent condition, having just been French polished. The detailed inlays on the tops are amazing & consist of many different woods, like satinwood, tulip wood, burr walnut & some other woods are can't quite work out. I particularly like the fan shaped satinwood pattern, which has a darker shadow showing in between the sections. The fronts of these tables are flame mahogany with cross banding all around. The legs are tapered with an added small section near the bases. These tables are in excellent condition & I would date them to around the 1920-30's period. They are structurally sound & very elegant. They are very rare to find in pairs, so I don't really want to split them.
