Here is an example of a pair of very good quality George III mahogany bedside chests, circa 1760 – 1790.

These excellent quality pair of George III mahogany bedside chests of drawers constructed of solid mahogany during the George III period (1760 – 1790), has been adapted to the current size during the 1920’s. They each have four working graduated pine lined drawers the drawers are cock-beeaded (a sign of quality) and feature open fretwork brass swan neck handles. The bedsides chests boast a good quality pair of double moulded edge tops and well shaped mahogany bracket feet. The backs of the bedside chests feature pine back boards. Both chests are constructed of top quality solid mahogany timber throughout. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from the colonies.

These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Condition Report
These excellent quality pair of George III mahogany bedside chests of drawers constructed of mahogany during the George III period (1760 – 1790), has been adapted to the current size during the 1920’s. These bedside chests are in excellent condition commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour patination to the timber. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £60. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
