A Highly Attractive Pair of Washstands / Cupboards.

A most unusual find, this lovely pair of marble-topped washstand / cupboards date to around the middle - late 19th century, with strong styling cues from the Aesthetic period.

The main carcass and paneling is from oak, with the shaped design to the drawer-fronts, faced in burr-walnut veneer.

They both require a degree of restoration and are being sold as such - as a project. However, the potential is considerable and with some effort they should repair and clean up very well.

Similarly the white marble tops to both have some marking and staining but again, with time and care are perfectly restorable.
