A fabulous pair of English country house 19th century cast brass fox head doorstops. Completely original and untouched. These are meant to stand in front of doors with the snout facing upwards. Can also be placed facing forwards. Probably made by Kenrick. Very rare to find these in pairs and in cast brass. (usually just cast iron). Aged to a beautiful bronze colour. Very heavy each weighs over 3.6 kilos and measures 6 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" high. Superb condition.
