Pair 19th C. Gilt Brass Candlesticks Marble Bases
We are offering this lovely true pair of 19th Century Gilt Brass Candlesticks of Classical Ladies on black marble bases.
The ladies are clad in classical draperies in diffferent styles and have opposite arms raised holding urns on stands on top of their heads. The figures stand on black marble stepped circular socles, with octagonal bases. Their sconces are present. The bases have been baized to protect antique furniture.
Height: 8 1/2" - 21.55cm
Base: 3 1/4" Corner to corner: 3 3/8"
Weight: .966kg & .962kg respectively.
Materials: Gilt Brass and black marble.
Condition: Very good. The figures are in very good condition with only minor wear consistent with age to the rims of the sconces. The marble bases havea few chips and nibbles around the edges, again consistent with age and use.
