Very handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany library table or writing desk c.1870. Oval top in solid mahogany with a burgundy leather writing surface and moulded edge. Over a crossbanded apron which hides a single large mahogany lined drawer. On a beautiful base with crisp turned and carved carved legs and stretchers and scrolling feet raised on the original brass castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops and fitted with a new leather skiver.
Dimensions: width 50″, depth 33″, height 30½".
