A very nice original, 1930s silver plated double students lamp that has similar form to that of the spring loaded students candle lights. The silver plate has a nice patina to it with areas of tarnish. It has been rewired to suit UK's 240v.

The shade is on a hinged bracket that is part of the lamp base, this has the original shaped shade with the original albeit faded fabric.

Once turned on it has a very appealing warm glow and if you need more light then you fold the shade back.
