This is as good an oak coffee or lamp table as you will see. It is beautiful. I would guess it was made in the 1920's - 1930's. The drop leaf table is made in the seventeenth century manner. The table has gun barrel turned legs and low stretchers. It is made exactly like a seventeenth century dining table only in miniature. It is almost like a scaled apprentice piece. The table has a shaped frieze, two gates, low thick stretchers and each joint is pegged. The table is aged with appropriate wear and a wonderful patina.

This is a seriously good coffee or low lamp table. It is heavy and solid with no worm or damage. Marks from usage as you would expect but these are appropriate and look good on period oak.

This drop leaf table will happily sit with old oak pieces in an antique setting. Imagine it with a lamp on top pulled up to the arm of a sofa or opened out as a coffee table. My photos don't capture what a good table this is.

The table is 22.75 inches deep and 19.5 high and 11 inches wide with no leaves up and 27 inches wide with both leaves up.
