Late 18th.c. oak open dresser base from the Wales Shropshire borders c.1790. Three large upper drawers over two smaller knife drawers, all with mahogany crossbanded fronts, elm linings and original brasswork. With a well shaped apron across the front and raised on cabriole legs with bracket tops and neat little pad feet with an unusual carved collar. Lovely mellow colour and excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
