This is a good quality antique oak George II Welsh Wall Rack, circa 1740-1760 (George II period) originating from South Wales. The bench is constructed of solid oak with decorative thumb mold edgings and sits on two oak stretchers. This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room, home office or kitchen and could be use as a bench or coffee table.

Nominal old use marks and scratches to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of active wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.
