Mid 19th century Oak Church lectern,c1850. In traditional form it has a strong gothic appearance with nice carving and panelling to the front and a shelf on the inside. The wood has taken on good colour/patina following years of use. There is a hole in the top shelf which I assume was a holder for a candle? Overall condition is good in line with age and use, with surface wear, marks etc. A useful and decorative piece of antique furniture. please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view the item or have any questions.
