A large and impressive oak chest of drawers presented to St Andrews Presbyterian Sunday School and dated 1919. With sloping top, fitted with three long and four short drawers, it has panelled sides and back and stands on a plinth base. With plaque to back which reads “Presented to St Andrews Presbyterian Sunday School, Primary Department in Memory of Alice Lawws 1919″. A good quality piece of antique furniture with a nice warm colour to the oak, the drawers offer a large amount of storage, they also lock and come with working keys. The handles are good quality reproduction cup handle which work well with the piece.

Good condition. Lovely warm patina to oak. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Handles are replacements. Marks and old holes (which have been filled with wax) where old handles would have been.
