Circa 1900, solid oak carved lectern in the form of an eagle. The back of the eagle is flat and has a small shelf. The eagle stands on a sphere, and below that is a very stylish carved pedestal in the ecclesiastical style, on a platform base with four supports. Would make a good book stand or stand for a maitre d’.
