lovely oak longcase grandfather antique clock by J & W Nicholson, Berwick (upon tweed).
the circular 13" painted dial with subsidiary seconds dial and working date dial, the case in a lovely rich warm oak has gun barrel columns and shaped apron.
the eight day movement which strikes the hour on a bell has been fully serviced and is in good working order.
without being over fussy, this really is a most attractive clock and is not done justice by the photographs.
