An oak cased longcase clock by George Hinemore of London. The 8-day, 5-pillar movement has a brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, seconds dial and a strike/silent facility in the arch (later modified). The case has elegant proportions with a slim trunk and long door with canted corners to either side. The hood has a fretted top with fluted columns and brass capitals. C.1780
