This is a smart mid Victorian console table with nice proportions and a good design dating from around 1850. The table has a clean black marble top on the serpentine shaped frieze and curved legs with hairy paw feet above the base. There is a useful drawer in the frieze. The bust shown is also currently available please see our other items.

The piece measures 86 cms high by 79 cms wide by 42 cms deep.

From the residual contents of Stanhope Castle, Bishop Auckland.
