Naval cutlass by Harvey
A naval cutlass by Samuel Harvey of Birmingham 1740-1790 . This is a very rare beast indeed, known as a Dussack sword it would have been forged from one piece of steel. The design dates back to the 17 century, this was carried as a secondary sidearm. Harvey was known for his double disk cutlass but this is the first Dussack sword I have seen. Marked HARVEY 22
