Military Campaign Secretaire Chest of Drawers

An incredible antique military campaign style chest of drawers in mahogany, with a built in drop down bureau. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
It is of exceptional quality and very compact. It’s not too wide or deep, with lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. The drop down writing surface has a dummy drawer front, which drops down and slides out. It is beautifully fitted out with a leather top writing surface, pigeon holes and more internal drawers.
There are many more fine features, like the brass military style sunken handles, the brass corner decoration & the handles on the sides. It also has exposed dovetailed joints on the top corners and chamfered edges.
We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age, with some minor surface wear and a gorgeous overall patina.
