Circa 1870, mid Victorian burr walnut chest of drawers. The neat sized chest has a finely figured burr walnut top with a solid moulded fore edge. Beneath the top drawer are 3 full length drawers which are graduating with matching burr walnut veneers on the front and small wooden knob handles. Unusually the drawer carcass liners and sides are all made in solid mahogany. There are 3 divisions in the top drawer. The chest has its original locks which are stamped VR. Below the bottom drawer there is a simple veneered plinth. Excellent colour and condition.
