Unusual mid 19th.c. mahogany drum or centre table c.1840. 45″ diameter top with a raised edge made from two solid mahogany boards arranged so the grain makes a symmetrical pattern. Over a particularly well figured flame mahogany veneered apron with four drawers at the quarter points. Raised on a turned and reeded column and tripod legs carved with acanthus leaves and splendid claw feet with the original wooden castors. Superior quality with solid mahogany drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for each drawer.
