Mid 19th Century Antique Oak Welsh Dresser.
A solid oak, antique Welsh dresser from the Carmarthenshire area and dating from around 1840-60.
A nice size, perfect for a cottage kitchen, this antique oak dresser has lots of storage and display space.
The top section is flanked by glazed fronted cupboards, which have the period wavy glass, inside each are three shelves, in the middle are three plate display shelves with three runsof period metal hanging hooks.
In the oak dresser base, three drawers, all with the original oak knob handles run smoothly and are ideal for housing cutlery and tea towels. At at each are large cupboards with an open storage area inside and to the middle is an open dog kennel.
This very original and un-altered antique Welsh dresser stands on shapley bracket feet and is in fabulous condition.
