Ballet ballerina foil compact powder mirror compact 1950s

A pretty foil compact made in the 1950s by Melissa powder compact in good condition. The original unused puff & sifter are in place.
The lid is excellent the foil has been well protected by the clear plastic cover - very pretty. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror very good & gives a perfect reflection back. The bezel is marked
"Made in England". The base is satinized gold tone.

The Melissa compact measures 3 1/4" & weighs 72.8 grams.
