Meiji Period Japanese Katana sword, with handle being a snake skin covered with leather and Cotton strips ITO (Hilt Wrap) with an engraved Fuchi (Collar) of a Rabbit, flowers & bamboo, large Tasuba (Guard) with two holes, kurikata is set to one side, Saya (main sword cover) is in deep colour of brown with pigment with two bronze studs near the end, there is a signature to the handle of the swoard, the Kozuka (small knife) has a bronze engraved handle with signature on the blade.
