Circa 1900, an unusual mahogany freestanding 3 part pedestal desk. The top is divided into 3 sections, the centre section has a green leather writing surface and to either side is a flamed mahogany panel with crossbanding. There are 3 frieze drawers and each pedestal has 3 graduating drawers. The drawers are all crossbanded and have wooden knob handles with small carved roundels in the centre, all is standing on stylish pad feet. There is a presentation plaque in the middle of the centre drawer. The desk is in the style of Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh but is not stamped.
