Super quality mahogany longcase grandfather antique clock by Timewell of London circa 1780.
The arched hood with eagle mounted brass finials and brass inlaid reeded columns, lovely flame mahogany case with ogee feet, the brass face unusually etched with insects has a working date aperture and makers name for Timewell, London.
The eight day movement is in good working order and strikes the hour on a bell.
