Mahogany Linen Press
Circa 1810. A good late George III mahogany two door linen press. The top with a moulded cornice and flamed mahogany frieze, with a large pair of doors with matching flame mahogany panels. The press retaining its original slides, the base section with a configuration of two short over two full length drawers each with an elegant elongated brass escutcheon and cast brass knob handles with a flower head in the center. The drawers are double beaded, beneath the bottom drawer is a shaped frieze and the whole piece rests on four elegant bracket feet.
