A handsome 3 part mahogany pedestal writing desk manufactured in 1900 by the famous firm Shoolbred & Co.

This solid mahogany desk stands on a plinth base, has 9 smoothly running drawers with original brass handles and polished mahogany back panels. Fitted key is supplied.

The leather writing surface is an ancient replacement. Shown here in top condition having been waxed and polished, this desk retains a lovely soft antique patination and is ready for use.
