Impressive George III style chest on chest by the celebrated British cabinet makers Waring & Gillow c.1920. Upper chest with three small drawers over three larger drawers on a three drawer base unit. Stunning flame mahogany veneeres arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the drawer fronts. Dental cornice, canted and fluted corners, original Georgian style brass handles and shaped bracket feet. Of superiour quality with solid mahogany sides, mahogany drawer fronts and oak drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Stamped for Waring & Gillow on the drawer fronts and locks plus a maker’s label to the top drawer in the base.
