Antique quality 19C mahogany bird cage tilt top piecrust supper wine table.
This is a lovely charming table, that is full of age, charm and character. Lovely patina and mellow colour.
Rare and attractive.
The table is heavy, solid and has no loose joints....the tilting mechanism and the catch work well (a tiny bit of play as is normal). No woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 73cm diameter x 72cmH (124cmH when tilted up).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Some historical repairs (including the normal iron strengthening plate under the tripod and repairs in the catch keep area), as one would expect, but all is strong now. Some minor historical chips missing from one ball and claw foot.
