A delightful late Victorian period kidney shaped bijouterie display table. Very well constructed in mahogany and satinwood and decorated with inlaid stringing and banding in boxwood and ebony. The hinged lid is fitted with its original beveled plate glass and opens to access a lined interior. The lock and key are present but non-functioning. All standing on elegant out-swept turned and fluted legs which are united by an under-tier. Offered for sale in very good original condition, ready to go straight into the home. Bearing the makers stamp to the underside "H Carpenter Nassau St. W.", referring to Nassau Street in W1, London.
