Magnificent Victorian Leather 3 Piece Suite
A delightful and extremely well proportioned Victorian leather upholstered mahogany sofa and armchairs, three piece suite.
The suite retains an old leather having original horsehair stuffing beneath which is still intact with feather down cushions.
The leather upholstery which is in stunning condition has beautiful aged tan colour which has been treated and nourished to give a lovely patina.
This sofa and chairs are of very generous proportions and with the feather down cushions makes it extremely comfortable so can be used relaxing watching a movie and also for reading. The quality is first class having super carvings to the arms and a lovely scrolled back raised on carved ball and claw feet with roped edge and acanthus leaf corners terminating on its original castors.
Dating to circa 1880 this well proportioned and very impressive suite is ready to be used with in the home.
