A very pretty little French Desk, 'bonne heure du jour'. this has lots of interesting detail. The writing area, ie the leathered part slides forward to give a better space to write on but then slides back for neatness when not in use. The are four useful little drawers on the top and a further one underneath. The centre of the gallery has turned spindles and a little carved decoration above them. The legs are supported by a double rail with turned spindles. There is light relief carving in the walnut on the drawer fronts and other places. Lovely little item in very clean condition with new/ replacememt leather, ready for a new home. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
