Louis Philippe console in gilded wood. Italy 19thC
Description: Antique Louis Philippe Neapolitan console in gilded and carved wood with a contemporary marble top.
The band under the top is a triumph of foliaceous cartouches, flowers and leaves while a beautiful shell acts as a connecting "key" on the front.
A larger shell embellishes the connecting crosspiece that joins the four feet.
The feet in the upper part have a dense carving with a foliaceous motif and end with an everted curl.
Origin: Naples 19th century.
General Condition: Excellent condition, but with non-contemporary gilding.
Measurements: 140x55 H107cm.
Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
