This is a long set of 12 antique dining chairs, English, Victorian balloon backs in mahogany dating to c.1850.

A fine set of heavy and robust mahogany dining chairs
Good colour and displaying grain interest with a desirable patina
Generous seat height and width
Ten having a straight front rail with two bow fronted

Turned front legs with swept rears rising into a pinched waist
Generous stock to the dished and shaped balloon backs
Traditionally stuffed drop-in pads finished in a corded quality olive green cloth
