Rare Antique Liberty & Co. Art Nouveau Japanese Carved Oriental Wooden Magazine Rack Circa 1900
These pieces were retailed by Liberty of London/Liberty& Co. and made to order in Japann. The range included antique tables in many many different shapes and sizes , as well as other decorative and practical items.
I have handled many of these piecesover the last 45 years but never a magazine stand, which I believe is a rare item.
Probably thier wern't many made?...
Measures approx: 14" wide/long, 14" high, 6" deep ...No worm...
The piece has a lovely patina and a rich colour.
