Late Georgian Brass hilted sidearm/Cutlass. Note there is no scabbard with this item.

It has a cast brass stirrup hilt with a tapering ribbed iron grip. There is a broad, tapering, single edged blade marked with issue stamp on one side and makers mark on the other.

In sound solid condition but with areas of heavy pitting, two edge nicks and heavy cleaning.

Approximately 78cm overall and blade 64.5cm.
