Late Georgian Brass hilted cutlass or sidearm. Has a cast brass stirrup hilt with ribbed iron grip. Broad, curved blade stamped on spine 'JN Gunby'. Blade also stamped with a crown and a 4. In good untouched condition overall with one or two edge nicks. Note there is no scabbard with this item.

Approximately 88.5cm overall and blade 76cm.
